Common questions

Getting in Touch

Can SafeHousing give me advice on my specific situation?

No. SafeHousing is a self-guided tool, not an advice service, so it cannot review your individual case. For advice tailored to your situation, contact Threshold or Citizens Information using the details above.

I found a bug or a mistake on the site. How do I report it?

Email hello@safehousing.ie with what you were doing and what went wrong, and it will be looked into.

How quickly will I get a reply?

SafeHousing is a small, independent project, so replies are not instant. For anything urgent about your housing, contact Threshold, Citizens Information or, in an emergency, the emergency services on 112, rather than waiting on an email reply.

Can I suggest a new guide or tool?

Yes, and these emails are genuinely read. Send suggestions to hello@safehousing.ie.
